Who will be queen of Rosaria?

The Rose Festival Court of 15 young women eagerly awaits the Queen’s Coronation, 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The new Queen of Rosaria will ride high in the Grand Floral Parade the same day.

With the Rose Festival under way, let’s meet the 15 princesses from Portland-area high schools, with an interesting fact about each:

Grant

Born in Guatemala, likes fashion and sports and wants to pursue political broadcast journalism.

Lily Brodrick

Wilson

Dedicated basketball player also community mentor, peer counselor and head of Earth Club at school.

A junior, she’s a member of Self Enhancement Inc. and taking biotech and medical courses.

Good student, on swimming: “After 10 years, I still love the sport as much as the first day I started.”

Big into school government, and gets outside for hiking, rock climbing, camping and more.
