• Another reminder for Black History Month: The Hollywood Theatre, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd., hosts the Portland Black Film Festival, Feb. 10-27. There’ll be seven programs, showcasing the achievements of African-American stars and filmmakers along with films about the black experience in America.The lineup: “Buck and the Preacher” (1972), Feb. 10; “Santa Fe Satan (Catch My Soul)” (1974), Feb. 13; “Penitentiary” (1979), Feb. 17; “A Ballerina’s Tale” (2015), Feb. 18; “Spirits of the Rebellion,” Feb. 20; “Rap City,” Feb. 24; “Black Caesar” (1973), Feb. 27 (Fred Williamson, who stars, makes an appearance).
