Portland Retro Gaming Expo
The 10th annual event includes a weekend of classic video games, tournaments and live appearances by game industry veterans. Its taking place in an expanded space at the Oregon Convention Center one-third of the space is set aside for games from decades past, with the Portland Arcade Collectors teaming with arcades to build Oregons largest public collection of full-size arcade and pinball machines, all available to play for free. Therell also be 40 hours of speakers, a live auction of video game collectibles, and the Tetris World Championships.

Coffee Fest Portland
The annual event gathers coffee and tea professionals together for three days of education, shopping new products, networking, and ancillary events for the public, including the Caffeine Crawl, which tours 28 coffee, tea and chocolate shops; theres a variety of tours available. Coffee Fest exhibition hours are noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 N.E.
